Innovative products and technologies are the driving forces for a sustainable business success. For this reason, Lenord + Bauer invests about 15% of its annual turnover in research of innovative technologies and manufacturing methods, as well as new product development.

A large number of our sensors and controls are customised solutions, specifically designed for application in long-term investment goods such as wind turbines or rail vehicles. Shock, vibration, humidity, salt mist, and extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to +120 °C are just a few examples of what types of high loads our products must withstand in the heavy-duty sector. But high precision and reliability are also criteria that require innovative technical solutions.

Our aim is to actively design and expand our product portfolio. Hence, the continuous new development of our products is essential for our company. Future innovations range from sensors with higher resolution and enhanced communication interfaces, new generations of rotary encoders, all the way to combination sensors that combine various measuring tasks in one housing.

In the area of controls, our product range will be expanded with software and hardware solutions that allow remote update. Or product portfolio in the area of mechatronic systems will also be continuously upgraded.
