Traverse winder for steel strip with short resetting times

 The task:

Automatic control of traverse winders when using different spools and different steel widths. The main aim is the reduction of resetting times.

 Method of solution:
Steel strip of varying widths between 10 and 80 mm are to be wound onto different spools. Key data such as material width, spool width, etc. for the individual spools are to be stored as programs and selected as required.
