Brief description:

For young people interested in a commercially-oriented career, Lenord + Bauer offers the opportunity of combining vocational training as an office clerk (Bürokauffrau/-mann) and industrial clerk (Industriekauffrau/-mann) with studies at the nearby University of applied Sciences (FOM) Essen.

During the two-year training ending with the final examination at chamber of commerce and industry you get to know different departments of Lenord + Bauer and become acquainted with several fields. Theoretical knowledge is imparted in training schools. Outside of working time you study around thrice weekly at the FOM. Having finished the Bachelor thesis the study ends after 3.5 years.

The following studies are offered:

• Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration
• Bachelor of Arts in International Management

The job spectrum for Bachelor of Arts in the company's commercial departments is broad and varies according to corporate requirements and individual preferences. Potential fields include organizational systems and data processing, capital investment and financing, accounting, controlling, auditing, human resources, procurement, materials management and logistics, manufacturing, marketing, sales and management assistance.

Requirements:

• Hochschulreife (general qualification to attend a university) or equivalent qualification and proficiency in German.
