International Key Account Manager (m/f)

Your tasks:

• Goal-directed, independent servicing, consulting and acquisition of international customers and sales partners
• Clarification of technical and application-specific questions from your assigned customer base
• Development and follow-up of proposals and contracts, including delivery and payment conditions
• Support for product managers in the production of specifications for new developments and modifications
• Active pursuit of new fields of application and new industrial sectors for our products
• Independent production of market, sector and competition analyses relating to country-specific circumstances and competitors
• Sales consulting and training oriented to potential target markets
• Planning and implementation of product launches in international markets

Your profile:

• In addition to your degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and your background in business economics or industrial engineering, you have experience of selling technical products that need to be explained to the customer.
• Knowledge of rail technology, drive technology and industrial metrology is an advantage.
• Your work and decisions are market-oriented, economically sound and goal-directed.
• You have experience with and enjoy cold-calling.
• You work in a structured and independent fashion.
• You are creative, receptive and exhibit a high degree of personal motivation and commitment.
• You are willing to travel abroad.
• Because this position is internationally oriented, you are fluent in written and spoken English (good enough to conduct negotiations); knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
